Your bespoke corset can last a life time. Because custom made corsets are made from a pattern made for you, and you have the opportunity to collaborate with the corsetiere to create a corset that is completely unique. You can pick your own fabric, colour, detail placement and embellishments.
Your bespoke corset begins with several of your measurements, and is custom pattern drafted to your body. When the pattern is drafted to fit you, instead of a sample size, your corset will fit like a hug, and will be more comfortable.
Each bespoke corset is as unique as the person it is made for. Everything is hand made in the Vanadis Couture atelier, in Finland. Each custom corset is made with high quality materials, English corsetry coutil, and German steel busks and bones. With proper care, your corset is made to last decades.
When you have a bespoke corset made, you are working directly with me in the design process, where we collaborate on designs and details that you would like featured in your corset. Your imagination is the limit! That gives us a lot of room to create something special don’t you think ? 🙂
Your unique pattern is drafted from scratch using each of your measurements. If you live in Finland or are able to travel and visit my atelier, we will make fittings together. Otherwise I will send you a toile and will ask you to try it and take some pictures of how it fits. After that I will be able to cut the fabric and start sewing your corset.
Your corset will be ready within three months of placing your order. If you require it sooner, please contact me before placing your order and we will find a suitable option for you.
