Ordering a bespoke garment may feel overwhelming if it’s your first time, but it doesn’t have to be. I’m here to guide you through every step, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable process as we bring your dream garment to life.
1. Vision & Collaboration
Whether you have a clear idea or are just beginning to explore, I’m here to help bring your vision to life. Browse my bespoke gallery, Instagram, or gather inspiration through Pinterest.
We’ll have a consultation to discuss details like occasion, fabrics, colors, and textures. Then, I’ll present up to three design options, and we’ll fine-tune the elements you love to create a design that’s uniquely yours.
2. Materials & Measurements
Once your design is finalized, I’ll provide fabric and embellishment samples for you to choose the perfect textures and colors. You’ll receive a detailed quote, and I’ll take your measurements—either in person or through a video fitting—before drafting your bespoke pattern. This is when your vision begins to take shape!
3. Fittings & Refinements
With your bespoke pattern ready, I’ll create a mock-up from similar materials to test the fit. During the first fitting, we’ll mark and pin any adjustments to refine the pattern. Usually, two to three mock-ups are needed, depending on the design’s complexity, bringing us closer to your perfect, custom garment.
4. Crafting the Corset
Once you’re happy with the mock-ups, I’ll start crafting your final piece! After completing the base, we’ll have another fitting to perfect every detail. Then, we’ll move on to embellishments, the most exciting part of the process. I’ll share progress photos as we go, making sure the final touches bring your vision to life!
5. Completion
And now your bespoke garment is complete!
Once the final payment has been received, your creation will either be shipped to you delicately wrapped in acid free tissue paper and sent out in a sturdy box or will be picked up by you from my studio for you to enjoy.
